New Ways to Search!

COOL's search features have expanded, and we must say they're COOL-worthy. In addition to your old friends MOS Code and MOS Title searches, you can now conduct "reverse" credential searches:

• Search by civilian career area: Select a civilian career area to view a list of Army MOSs that are related to that career area.
  
  
• Search by civilian certification or license: First view a list of civilian credentials alphabetized by credential name or credentialing agency name. Then click on a credential name, and a list of MOSs that provide training and experience which apply toward that credential is displayed.
  
  Also notice on these alphabetized list pages the new "Find on Page" feature in the side navigation menu. Simply type a search word or phrase into the text box, click "Find on Page," and if the search term exists on the page, you'll be taken there. (Click Find on Page again to see the next occurrence of the search term.)

The SOCAD Army Career Degree Program (ACDP) is an Army education initiative within the SOCAD system. SOCAD includes colleges and universities that offer associate and bachelor's degrees on or accessible to Army installations worldwide.

These colleges have organized to form degree networks in which each member college guarantees to accept courses in transfer from other member institutions. This enables Army students and their adult family members to continue toward completion of their college degrees with their home college even if transfered. Army Career Degrees are earned through civilian colleges and universities in disciplines fully recognized and accepted in the civilian community.

For MOSs with ACDP plans available, COOL includes links to the information on its MOS summary pages under the Continuing Education heading.
