Additional Information

Regulations regarding the Training of Commercial Divers are under the purview of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). OSHA considers an employer to be in compliance with federal training requirements if they have documentation which shows that the diver has completed training to the appropriate level at a commercial diving school in a particular state, military or federal school, or an Association of Commercial Diving Educators (ACDE) accredited school. Military job seekers should be prepared to provide their diving log book to prospective employers.
